The Lord's Day

What is amazing about the Day of the Lord is no that it is a new day. It is that we are being made new! What makes the days special is not that it marks a new time in our calendars towards the weekend, but that we are being changed from the inside out. And it is not special because we have the day off or something. It is special because it is His day. This verse has multiple interpretations from modern scholars. It either means the day of deliverance or the day that the stone was made the cornerstone. Either way, all days of the year are days God has made and we should celebrate the Gospel message; that we have been delivered from our sin. We have salvation in Jesus. We will be in eternity with God. So as we enjoy God’s glory all around us, let us be glad in it and celebrate a new life in Christ Jesus our Lord!
