A Good Day

Good Friday is the day Christians remember that Jesus was put on the cross and died for the sins of the world. It is a very serious and sad day because Jesus was innocent, yet He chose to suffer in our place. Christians call it “good” not because what happened was pleasant, but because through His death, Jesus paid the price for sin so that people could be forgiven and brought back into a relationship with God. It also reminds believers of how deeply Jesus loves them, because He was willing to give His life to save them.
