Sinners need Jesus

The ten commandments were meant to be a mirror for us. A mirror to help us see our sinfulness. They were meant to show us our need for the eventual Savior that will later come. We are created and loved by a God that is the exact opposite of us. Pure and holy. He wouldn’t be God if He contained just a single ounce of the sin we have. God is perfect in every way. That is why we need Christ. Jesus died so that His righteous could be imputed on us. That makes it possible for us to enter Heaven and enter into God’s presence. God cannot be around sin. Nor is sin allowed anywhere near Heaven. So it all works out. God’s plan was meant to reconcile us to Himself. Through the sacrificial work of His Son who died for us on the cross.
